doublecmd differ
I have been using Double Commander as a file manager for Windows and Linux for more than 6 years now. I have moved from Total Commander.
One of the most often by me function in DC is the DoubleCmd Differ - internal tool to compare text files. It wa never was best one, but it was good enough. I was able to quickly compare two files, without the need leave DC; I have the keyboard shortcut configured as well.
DoubleCmd allows to change the default differ, but I didn't care much to take my time and do this. However, this is very simple and fast configuration.
Double Commander > Configuration > Options... > Tools > Differ:
- Path to program to execute:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft VS Code\Code.exe"
- Additional parameters:
-n --diff
With this configuration, every time I use the differ it will open new VSCode window in the file difference mode.
